Dr. Chaidej Sasomboon — Minimally Invasive Spine Surgeon

Dr. Chaidej earned his Doctor of Medicine degree and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, followed by subspecialty board certification in Spinal Disorders from the Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Thailand.

He then pursued advanced fellowship training in spine surgery in the United States at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and at NewYork-Presbyterian Och Spine Hospital / Columbia University Medical Center.

I believe in a treatment approach that is safe, minimally painful, and allows for rapid recovery, so that patients can return to their best quality of life. This is made possible through my specialized expertise in endoscopic surgery, together with Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) techniques: small incisions, less pain, and faster recovery.

Today I practice at Bangkok Hospital Headquarters, a medical hub equipped with cutting-edge technology, including:

• Endoscope and Microscope
• O-arm Navigation System: a 3D image-guided navigation system that enhances surgical precision
• Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM): real-time monitoring of nerve function during surgery for maximum safety

I created the “Easydoc” website and YouTube channel to share knowledge about spinal conditions with the public in language that is easy to understand, because I believe that when you understand your condition well, you can treat it the right way.
